I Think I'll Fly South I think I'll fly south for the winter I'll set forth for warmer climes, Just like the swallow, I'll wallow in sorrow And think back on sunshine at times I miss you most when it's winter A sight of you would always warm the heart in me But when it's cold outside Memories unfold in my mind And I can't forget when you were a part of me So I think I'll fly south But I could not deceive you For one chance to see you And I would fly home again The snow's falling white in winter It's a pain I cannot ignore I'll fly to the south Where the lips of your mouth Are lost to a far distant shore

My Way Of Thinking Let’s forget about yesterday That’s what she thinks and that’s what she says She knows of better days on the way I suppose I do but it’s just my way of thinking And when she tells me that I’m the best I hear the words but I’m not impressed I tried so hard but I failed the test Oh I’m not sure that it’s just my way of thinking I don’t mean to doubt your words But maybe they’re better left unheard Doesn’t mean the feeling’s not there Oh I don’t know if it’s just my way of thinking And maybe baby in a little while When the man has left the child I’ll return and I’ll make you smile Oh I don’t know but it’s just my way of leaving Here I go down the yellow brick road with the lion and the Scarecrow Oh, la la la la la la la la la la
3.
Love And Learn A comedy is over, a wind of change goes by And you can do what you want now but laugh or you’ll cry I wouldn’t say that you’ve been a fool If you let your heart rule your head Some people will hurt you and make you cry Some people forget you, some memories die One of these days the sun will shine through To show you a truth you already know Chorus Love’s always worth another try And when it comes you’ll close your eyes Open your arms and learn to fly with the implications A tragedy unfolded before my eyes A cloak and a dagger, a feeling disguised But maturity knows that love will rain blows Until a new feeling grows from each emptiness And what if regret should hold you down? If you should forget to begin again, with who and when? Through fear and fret don’t you forget...

Abbey Road 02:48
Abbey Road Chorus Let’s go to Abbey Road and leave the grey behind Kick off our shoes and walk the crossing Before we are too old, before we lose our minds And Abbey Road’s still there waiting for us I will even wear the flag Though this country is a drag With its bootboys and their knives We’ll sing out loud the soundtrack of our lives We might even see the queen Waving from a Limousine We’ll all cheer as she goes by With our middle fingers pointing at the sky I can hear this England calling Move your arse or die of boredom There’s no curry when you’re dead So fill your eyes with beauty and put memories in your head
5.
Talking About You In The Present Tense When the sun rises and when it sets When the shadows turn into silhouettes As darkness falls and the world forgets I’ll be talking about you in the present tense When the rain falls and the wind blows When they fall asleep to the sound of falling snow And they can’t recall anything they’ve known I’ll still talk about you in the present tense Precious moments then it’s gone Suspended strands of gossamer Laugh and treasure memory Raise a glass of melody And breathe, and breathe When the moon shines and the stars are tears When the calendar’s pages turn to years As regimes fall and ice caps disappear I’ll still be talking about you in the present tense

about

This EP was recorded live at home on a Sony Cyber-Shot Camera in two sessions in 2011 and 2012. The music files were mastered from MP3 taken from the videos. They were tidied up using Audacity. This is a lo-fi project.

Thanks to Nikola Nesković for telling me the truth and giving me the idea.
